The Four Loves of My Life

So I was sitting at my desk today talking to some people about college life and how it is the best years they will ever have. I was telling stories of my best friends who are the 4 loves of my life. People say that you only have one love of your life so I guess I must be special because I have 4. They have been there through everything. We all met in college but when you look at us you would never think that we are best friends. We have the Cheerleader- JG

She is the most amazing person I have ever met. She is bubbly and loves to have a great time. We first met her freshmen year and my sophomore when we both discovered that we were cheerleaders in high school and liked to date football player. Boy have we come a long way since then. Her and I have had so many fun memories. Our favorite thing to do is take random road trips together. She could call me at anytime and say lets go out of town in an hour and I would say yes..that's just the uniqueness of our friendship. We are practically sisters and being around us you can see it. One of our dreams is to save up money and one day get into a car and drive with no destination, just drive and see where we end up. When telling her parents about this idea they laughed at us (like they often do) and said sounds good to us. So someday when no one can find us we might just be in a car driving somewhere.

Then there is the "little one"- Jessie:
She is the girl I will call when my world is falling apart because most of the time she will tell me what I don't want to hear but knows I need it. She is trendy and funny and sometimes surprisingly ghetto. This is funny because she is a southern girl that lives in a glorified double wide trailer (I'm not making fun of it, I love the trailer). I love spending time with her. She always has something new going on and is all over the place. She has such a special place in my heart. She lives in Coastal so I don't get to see her that much but when we are together it's always a great time.

There is the kind of "Emo" one- Jack Jack
I have to admit when I first met Jackie I did not think that we would be friends and that's ok to say because I know she felt the same way. Seeing as she was the "emo" kid and I was the cheerleader. When I first met Jackie she was kind of weird and wanted to spend time with her friend Mary Jane, seeing as Mary Jane and I don't get along, we could never be friends. However, it's amazing to see what being in a bible study together will do. I don't know what I would do without Jackie in my life. She is crazy and fun loving. I'm really glad she moved back to Charleston, she was missed when she moved home. We mostly hang out and watch movies together or have game nights.

There is "Audio Gifted" one- Dee
Dee is really the sweetest person I have ever met. I don't think there is a person in this world that she does not like. She is great at making people feel accepted and loved. And for all of you who have not seen this girl at a sporting event she is a FAN!!!!..she will yell, scream, jump up and down and be all deck-out for her time. Sometimes she almost seems scary. I love to be around her. She is right now living in LA where she is working with a ministry doing t heir music. She has an amazing gift to understand how to put together an audi o production. Better her than me, there are too many wires for me to keep track of.

These are the 4 loves of my life and I don't know where I would be without them. You will hear more about them as I continue to tell my stories. They have helped to make me the person I am and will always be a major part of my life. We have laughed, cried, yelled, cheered, been disappointed in each other, but in the end we have remained best friends.

  1. I love all of those girls! They are great! And you are so right about Dee, I do not think there is a single person that she doesn't like. She is so kind to everyone, even when she feels discouraged.
